This is a "Triennale" credenza sideboard, model 29A, initially designed by Arne Vodder in 1957 and produced by Sibast in Denmark. This example dates to the 1960s. The piece has a case of Brazilian rosewood on the exterior with some teak details inside. In 1957, Vodder was awarded first prize at the X Triennale di Milano for this important No. 29A Sideboard for Sibast. The piece measures 19.5 inches deep, 72 inches wide, and 40.5 inches high. The drawers open and close smoothly, and the tambour doors move fluidly. It is in fantastic shape, having been freshly refinished. Please see photos. The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction. The listed shipping cost is an estimate, though we can likely stay below that number for most areas of the country. If you win the item, we can discuss shipping options, prices, etc. and we will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible. We work with a shipper locally who takes great care in their work and has been complemented often on their packing and shipping quality.
