This is a Japanese Tansu Tea Cabinet, dating to the 1960s. It has a case and a base made of walnut, and it has two pieces of artwork that are affixed to the front of the piece. The art on the right hand side of the cabinet depicts a Japanese woman wearing a kimono with a pattern of waterwheels in waves, executed by artist Kaigetsudō Dohan.
