This is a beautiful and rustic, antique, primitive, American jelly cupboard, pie safe, or cabinet, believed to be from the 1800s. Could also be used as a server, buffet, storage cabinet, or pantry. It features one dovetailed drawer and paneled doors with pulls, two large unfinished wooden shelves inside where canned or baked goods would have been stored, plenty of surface space, and a lever on front to keep doors closed. The sort of wear on this piece tells a story of times passed! Wood appears to be walnut in a honey colored finish.
