This piece of rosewood furniture exists in two parts. The top case features a double arch flanking a medial finial over two glazed doors. The bottom case is a drop-front desk having a slanted writing board that opens to show interior drawers and cubbyholes, over 4 full-width drawers with large brass handles, over squat ogee feet. Overall: 92″h x 38-1/2″w x 20″d. Due to the density of the wood and the weight of the glass panels, this is a heavy piece.
