Contemporary Mahogany & Glass Floor-to-Ceiling Illuminated Display Cabinet This beautiful contemporary piece was manufactured within the last decade in the nondescript "traditional" style favored by high-end commercial retailers. We have 2 cabinets available - each $1,750.00 The entire piece, minus the bronze hardware, glass, and mirrors, is made from mahogany, including the back. It has lovely applique relief moldings in elegant scroll work, silvered with paint, on all front corners. Three of the four sides of this piece are floor to ceiling glass. The back of the piece is lined in 12" high sections of mirror separated by 3" full-width wooden shelf brackets with the corresponding steel peg shelf supports on the front corners. There are four shelf brackets available - the middle bracket is actually an entire frame with the front bisecting the cabinet doors. This prevents anyone or anything from walking into the vitrine when both doors are opened and protects the integrity of the shelves and whatever they're displaying. The doors do not have a conventional lock but they interlock together when closed - one can not open the doors one at a time. This acts as both a security measure and also keeps the vitrine stable and prevents physically disturbing anything delicate on the shelves. This piece also has two recessed lights in the ceiling that are turned on/off by a push button in the ceiling close to the doors. They are connected to a single extension cord the length of the vitrine and take 40W (120V) or smaller lights bulbs (bulbs are not included). The vitrine measures 88" high, 45" wide, and 17 1/2" deep. It weighs approximately 100 lbs. This piece is in very good condition. It does not have a maker's mark.
